Our matcha comes from Uji, the region outside Kyoto that’s been famous for matcha for centuries. Every drink gets a generous four grams, whisked fresh the moment you order, and every syrup is made from scratch.

Questions people ask
The things that come up most. If yours isn’t here, put it in the form and we’ll answer it.
How much space do you need?
The cart fits most spaces, indoors or out: a corner of a room, a spot on the grass, the end of a driveway. We just need to arrive at least an hour before service starts to get set up, plus a little time at the end to pack down.
Do you need power?
An outlet is easiest, so let us know if there’s one nearby. If there isn’t, we bring our own generator. That’s an add-on, so mention it when you inquire and we’ll build it into the quote.
How far will you travel?
We’re based in Charles Town and work the Eastern Panhandle, Northern Virginia, Frederick and Baltimore regularly. Anywhere inside about a two to three hour drive is fair game. If you’re not sure whether you’re in range, just ask.
How far ahead should I book?
Two weeks is the usual minimum, and further out is always easier, especially for weddings and anything on a weekend. Shorter notice than that, ask anyway. Sometimes it works.
How many drinks can you make?
Plan on somewhere around 40 an hour from the cart. Tell us your headcount and how long you want us pouring, and we’ll tell you honestly whether that adds up or whether we should add time.
What if it rains?
If the forecast looks like it’ll get in the way, we bring a tent. Just flag that the setup is outdoors when you book so we can plan for it.
How does booking actually work?
Send the form with your date, rough headcount and where you are. We come back with availability and a real quote, usually within a day. If it all looks good, we’ll put the details in writing and hold the date for you.

Oat milk on anything. The one exception is our cold foam. It needs dairy to whip properly, so that particular drink can’t be made dairy free.
Are you licensed?
Yes. We carry our licenses and permits to every event, so if a venue or a market manager asks to see them, they’re on hand.
